Values
1. The tenets of environmentalism, the methodology of our productions' artistic process and the content of our plays intertwine to create events that are exciting, essential and ecological.
2. We seek to extend the life of a production's resources beyond apparent limitations. We create our productions' physical worlds using found/recycled, repurposed/reused and sustainable/efficient materials.
We seek to build and nurture relationships based on sharing with greater theatrical communities so that Green Theatre can blossom beyond any single production or company.
3. We seek to renew theatre and make it a sustainable art form for future generations. We question theatrical traditions, conventions and expectations; we celebrate the new, the experimental and the unique.
4. We seek to ignite discourse, to unite communities and to inspire individuals to think bigger. Our productions' resources and processes are inspired by and echo the local community the show serves. We seek to
leave the community better and cleaner than we found it.
5. We do not wish to preach. We make stories that are unmistakably theatrical, and then we surround those events with relevant information. Our fiction strives to inspire, our information strives to activate.
